Kaoru Lily is a Dutch World Cosplay Summit 2019 Netherlands representative who started cosplaying in 2008 and making her own costumes in 2012.
She is mostly interested in cosplaying strong-willed, powerful female characters, but also favouring cute characters. Started crossplaying in 2016.
Through cosplay she developed a variety of crafting skills – but what makes cosplay so special for her is the bonds that are created thanks to cosplay. “I met amazing people from all around the world. How cosplay brings us all together like that is what I truly appreciate!”
She is currently in Dubai for MEFCC 2020 alongside Rei Suzuki.
